    1. The fundamental goal of conducting a research is to get a new knowledge that can answer our questions and also to solve our problems in our life. When we are doing a research we can also developing our knowledge.
Why result research should be communicated? Because when we are doing a research, we must realize that it’s not just for us. Perhaps there are many people who need it. It means that we can share with another.
    2. A scientific communication should fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience- adapted, brief, and clear). All this criteria are used to help people to understand it.
    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    Scientific paper.
    – New knowledge : new research for new knowledge
    – Logical and Clear : helping people to understand
    – Tables and figures : is provided in form tables and figures is used to provide some explanatory.
    Popular science paper.
    – Knowledge review : it means that we can review the research
    – Arouse interest : popular science paper using many interesting things
    – Examples : popular science paper using examples as an explanation
    4. Blended learning is learning that combines face-to-face learning with computer mediated learning. It means that student can develop our knowledge not just in classroom but in everywhere by computer mediated (CM).
I have some benefits when I’m joining a class employing the blended learning approach :
    – I can more easy to understand
    – I get much knowledge
    – I can compare with another source
    – I get many solution for my assignment
    – I can study from another in the world

    here is my task

    1. What is the fundamental goal of conducting a research, and why a research results should be communicated? Fundamental goal of conducting a research is search the answer from the problems you want to research. Without problems you can’t find the answer. Why we need to communicate it? Because the research results aren’t same in everywhere and every time. And research is to contribute to knowledge, so that every new result adds to the previous state of knowledge, forming a basis for new thinking and interpretation, new implications, identification of needs for further research
    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)? Because scientific research is to share new knowledge, if you lost some of ABC that paper maybe not accurate or they can’t understand your research/
    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    Scientific paper
    A. New knowledge
    B. References = Enable other to repeat experiment and check info
    C. IMRAD-Format = Logical and clear
    Popular science paper
    A. Knowledge review
    B. Arouse interest
    C. Teach or influence the reader
    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach? For me, blended learning is mixing the methods of learning to get good knowledge. Blended learning included online learning and face to face learning. I think the benefit of it are 1. Make you easy to know news, 2. You can ask your problem in your assignment immediately, 3. You can do your work together, etc.

    thank you

    1. the fundamental goal of conducting a research is to identify the main problem that we face in our life and find the solution to solve our problem.
And why a research results should be communicated because with communicated it, we can give a new information or a new knowledge to others who may be facing the same problem with us.
    2. a scientific communication should fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear) because with accurate, concise, and clearly can make a scientific communication has become very useful to the audience. accurate; accordance with the results obtained from the research and its validity can be justified. Brief; to the point so that the audience can get the point or grasp the meaning of the scientific communication.Clear; language that used should be easy to understand and the content of scientific communication must be clear so it does not make the audience were skeptical.
    3. three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    SCIENTIFIC PAPER:
    – has to have a new knowledge
    – enable others to repeat experiment and check info about it.
    – logic and clear; so make the audience become easy to understand the content and to get the point of it.
    POPULAR SCIENCE PAPER:
    – contains of a knowledge review
    – has interesting content
    – can teach the audience
    4. based on wikipedia, the definition of blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path or pace.
the benefits of blended learning :
face to face ; the student can understand more about the subject that they learn through explanation from lecturer.
    online learning ;
    – can be accessed anywhere
    – can get more knowledge about the material from a variety of sources.
    – save more money save if i have to collect the assignment.

    1. The fundamental goal of conducting a research is to find out or to gain new information or more knowledge, and it is forming a basis for new thinking and interpretation, new implications, identification of needs for further research, etc . It makes knowledge develops rapidly. And it should be communicate because, result is enrich knowledge, but knowledge is lost without we communicate it. Communication is needed, to improve the researcher knowledge from what he has learned before and develop your thoughts and make it to a deeper and wider context.

    2. Scientific communication should fulfill the criteria of ABC that are accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear. It means that it should be accepted by society at large, not just in the region, but throughout the world so the audience will get and understand what message that the researcher want to inform. The researcher also must consider in delivering the message because everyone is having different interpretation, make it clear so there is no misunderstand or miss interpretation of the information.

    3. The differences between scientific paper and popular science paper

    Scientific paper
    – New knowledge  the scientific paper is organised in a standard way.
    – Enable others to repeat experiment and check info
    – Logical and clear
    – Technical

    Popular science paper
    – Knowledge review  organised in a various way
    – Arouse interest
    – Teach or influence the reader
    – Illustrations and headings as a tool to facilitate reading and understanding

    4. Blended learning is when face to face learning environmentis mixed up with computer mediated learning environment. So this learning environment is blended, there is time you learn face to face with your lecturer and there is time you learn in a cyberspace with your lecturer either through blogs, facebook, or other ways through the online system.
I expect i can be an active learner and able in mastering blended learning so it can improve my ability in writing.

    Answer :
    1. Fundamental goal of conducting a research is writing our research result into a written book that consists of scientific words which can elaborate our accurate result. Research result should be communicated because the knowledge or the result is forgotten easily if we do not write them into a result words or book. So, we need to learn scientific writing to avoid the forgetable result and we can make it into a book.

    2. Scientifics should have the criteria of ABC because when they write they result through the words and make it into a book, they must have the accuration research and the reasearch should be adapted easily by the audience. Don’t forget to make the result of research briefly and clearly. Scientific must has a message to elaborate their result in order to make the reader understand easily their scientific writing. Through the “Wh” Questions, the scientific can more summarize their scientific writing briefly.

    3. The scientific writing is different from popular science writing. They are different among the target group, organization, and their layout.

    a. The scientific writing is elaborating the new knowledge with the new result too. But, the popular writing is summarizing the review of others author.
    b. The scientific writing usually uses the logical material in their writing, but popular writing only has illustration to elaborate the content of thier writing.
    c. In scientific writing, the scientifics use table in order to explain the content and they usually use number. But not popular writing.

    4. In my way, Blanded learning is the way we learn through useful tools inside. Blanded learning consist of F2F learning and Online Learning. I think blanded learning is more better than only learning with F2F or Online Learning.

    1. What is the fundamental goal of conducting a research, and why a research results should be communicated?
    Answer:
The fundamental goal of conducting a research are to answer the curiosity toward problem (identifying the problem), and acquire new knowledge (after we identify the problem we must solve it. By solving that problem we can enrich our knowledge because we know new knowledge, methodology, way ,etc.
And a research result should be communicated because: A result of a research give the new knowledge and information which need to know by public. A written and published report describing original research results which is published to enable peers to:
    1.To assess observations
    2.To repeat experiments
    3.To evaluate intellectual processes

    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)?
    Answer:
Accurate and audience-adapted: it’s because the data obtained and investigated must be based on the fact that occurred in the field and should not be fetched.
Brief: it’s because the most important thing in a scientific communication is the content not about its length or width. So a scientific communication must be starch to the point.
Clear:it’s because the result of a reserch must be explained clearly and make sure the readers understand.

    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper!
    Answer:
    SCIENTIFIC PAPER
    – New knowlegde: researching new things that have never been investigated or existing
    – Enable others to repeat experiment and check info (references): if the readers is disagree with the author’s scientic paper, they can repeat the experiment.
    – Table and figures: the result of reserch is described by table and figures.
    POPULAR SCIENCE PAPER
    – Knowledge review: researching things that have been investigated by using the different theory from the previous.
    – arouse interest: the research object arouses people’s curiousity.
    – Teach or influence the reader: is aimed to teach and influence the reader to have the same opinion with the author

    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach?
    Answer:
Blended learning: is the learning process which is combining face-to-face learning environment and computer mediated learning environment.
I expect from this blended learning are
    – More efficient
    – Not wasting time
    – Make sure all of student understand the material well
    – No misunderstanding or misinterpretation.

  11. 1. What is the fundamental goal of conducting a research, and why a research results should be communicated?
The fundamental goal of conducting a research is to contribute to knowledge, so that every new result adds to the previous state of knowledge, forming a basis for new thinking and interpretation, new implications, identification of needs for further research, etc. And a result research should be communicated effectively because of to contribute to new knowledge and communication is needed, not only to spread research results, but also to articulate results
    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)?
Because it is important, Communication have two way process. Information cannot merely be delivered it must be received and understood as well. So the message delivered may be accurate, brief and clear, but may still not be received and understood the message relating to the frames of reference of the audience. The communication ABC accuracy, brevity and clarity, should be fulfilled in each type of writing, of course, but the technical language cannot be the same for specialists as for non-specialists.

    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    • Scientific papers: Scientific papers are for sharing your own original research work with other scientists or for reviewing the research conducted by others.
    – Enable others to repeat experiment and chek info.
    – Logical and clear: It is important to write the paper in a style that uses clear and concise language, so as to allow the reader to understand your research paper thoroughly and efficiently.
    – Tables, figures: help make numbers meaningful and convey information to the reader.
    • Popular science article
    – knowledge reviews
    – Illustrations and headings as a tool to facilitate reading and understanding
    – Teach or influence the reader : the scientific work should be useful to readers

    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach?
I expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach is I can more understand and easier in using online learning and more understand the scientific writing lesson.

    1. Wha is the fundamental goal of the conducting a research, and why a research result should be communicated?
The fundamental goal of conducting a research is to expose the scientific writting structure and process and to teach the fundamental of effective scientific writing. And why a research result should be communicated is to makes knowledge develops rapidly, and to collaborate.in research the communicate is really nessesary because to find the result of a research we need to researching by communicating.
2.Why should a scientific communication fufill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience, adapte, brief and clear).
Because a scientifict have a character or chriteria that it must have the accurate fact, brieft, and clear (ABC) in other words it means that a scientifict must can be proved with the fact so that we can called it as a scientific.if it have no accurate fact, brieft and clear, we can’t say that it is a scientific.so that’s why a scientifict communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience, adapte, brief and clear).
3.Mention and explain three different between scientific paper and popular science paper.
Scientific paper and popular science have 3 differeces:
    a.Target group
Both of scientific paper and popular science have the different target group which the scientific paper learn the new knowledge but the popular science is review the knowledge (knowledge review)
    b.Organization
Both of scientific paper and popular science also have the different organization which the scientific organization is aimed to enable others to repeat and check info to reference and the science aimed to teach or influence the reader.
    c.Language and layout.
The scientific have the tecnical terms, and it’s alson must be logical and clear but the science must arouse interest and have examples, and then there are the illustration and headings as a tool to facilitate reading and understanding.
4.What is your defenition to “blande learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining the class employing the blended learning approach?
Blanded learning is a process learning where is I can learn by two ways, namely by face to face and the second is by do it online (computer mediated). It means I can learn something with the different way and I can still understand it well.
The benefit that I expect by joining this class employing the blanded approach are:
a.whether i learn it by face to face or by online i still can understand well the lesson.
b.by this blended learning, i wish this way can improve my creativity.
c.by this learning approach may it can improve my knowledge.

    1. What is the fundamental goal of conducting a research, and why a research results should be communicated?
The fundamental goal of conducting research is to contribute to knowledge. Knowledge is not static, but it is developing. Everything in this world is knowledge for human especially for us. There’s always something new around us, and it’ll be new knowledge. There’s a lot of problem around our life which have already had solutions but it’s possibly if one problem has more solutions, and the solutions will be a new knowledge. The new solution which is the new knowledge will complete (as Malfors, Garnsworthy, & Grossman’s “Writing and Presenting Scientific Papers” p.1 said adding to the previous state of knowledge) the previous knowledge.
Why a research results should be communicated? “Communication is needed, not only to spread research results, but also to articulate results” (Malmfors, Garnsworthy, & Grossman, 2004). The research results are knowledge and knowledge is information. The research results always bring something good because it always concludes with conclusion of problem solving. So, communicating the research results have to be done to inform people about the new thoughts, the new solutions, and the new knowledge.

    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)?
A research is scientific. And based on what already said that a research should be communicated. When a research is communicated, it should fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear. Science is international which is mentioned in Malmfors, Garnsworthy, & Grossman’s, so it means that there is a lot of people will read, listen, or be informed the research. And everybody has own way for understanding the research which will occur different perceptions, so when the scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC, it will decrease misunderstanding.

    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper!
    SCIENTIFIC PAPER:
    1) New Knowledge. Scientific paper talks about new research for new knowledge which the research results require precision. The precision includes distinguishes the new result from the previous result.
    2) Logical and Clear (based on IMRAD: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, And Discussion). Scientific paper must be logical and clear so the reader or listener who is informed can understand, accept, repeat, or verify it.
    3) Table and figure. Because the scientific paper talks about new research, new knowledge, so it needs data. And generally, the data which is provided is in the form of table and figure to show the explanation clear.

    POPULAR SCIENCE PAPER:
    1) Knowledge review. It means that the knowledge had been already made before. And the popular science reviews it.
    2) Teach and Influence the reader. The popular science paper is to teach and to influence the reader in order that they understood the knowledge even without knowing the previous knowledge.
    3) Examples. Because the popular science paper talks about knowledge review or reviewing what had been made, it uses examples to make it the explanation clear.

    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach?
Blended learning is combining face-to-face learning and online learning. Face-to-face learning is when students are learning and participating in the classroom and having interaction with the teacher / lecturer directly. For example, teacher or lecturer explains the materials in front of the class and the students are listening; the students can ask or discuss the learning materials with the teacher / lecturer directly.
Online learning is learning online through internet. The students don’t need to attend the class or listening or learning by looking at the teacher in the classroom directly. But, the students and the lecturer can do teaching-learning (explains the learning materials and giving assignments) through internet or called it with cyber class, and students can do it wherever and whenever based on the dealing between teacher and students.
I expect that blended learning can make me learn and understand the course well and I hope that blended learning is an effective way for learning.

Hello sir, I had done my scientific writting assignment so here I send my assignment, thanks.

    1. The fundamental goal of conducting a research is to help finding a scientific problem to be solved, discover and develop knowledge and test the truth of a knowledge that is expected to provide benefits for all parties concerned in the study so that every new result adds to the previous state of knowledge, forming a basis for new thinking and interpretation, new implications, identification of needs for further research and a research results should be communicated it is because important to contribute the new knowledge and subsequent researchers were able to get feedback and improve the results research.
    2. A scientific communication should fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear because the information on the results of the study will be read by many parties. A scientific communication fulfill the criteria of AB can be digested easily. Reseachers want to make results more meaningful and useful for the reader therefore the results of the research should be objective, fact-based, systematic and logical.
    3. Three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    a.Scientific paper : New knowledge
Scientific paper produces the new information, understanding gained through education with fact, truths, as from study or investigation.
Popular science paper : Knowledge review
Popular science paper examines knowledge again, with the intention of changing it if necessary.
    b. Scientific paper : Enable others to repeat experiment and check info from references
The scientific paper is organised in a standard way. The format normally used is called IMRAD, referring to the main sections of the paper: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion.
    Popular science paper: Arouse interest
In popular science writing, you first need to think about what in your research area might interest the reader, and second about how to explain things so they are understood, even without previous knowledge in this area.
    c. Scientific paper: Logical and clear
The communication ABC, i.e. accuracy, brevity and clarity, should be fulfilled in each type of writing, of course, but the technical language cannot be the same for specialists as for non-specialists.
Popular science paper: Teach or influence the reader
Awakening interest and helping the reader is important.
    4. Blended learning is a formal education program in which students learn that combined of face to face instruction with computer- mediated instruction.
    Benefits of blended learning
I expect more time to reflect and refer to relevant course and other research materials when working and writing online in which I feel more comfortable.

And a result research should be communicated effectively because of to contribute to new knowledge to clarify your thoughts and to put your research into a deeper and wider context, not only to spread research results, but also to articulate results.

    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)?
A scientific communication should fulfill the criteria of the ABC because of two-way communication process which message delivered should be accurate, brief and clear, received and understood the message relating to the frames of reference of the audience. Therefore, adapting to the audience is important.

    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper.
    Scientific paper:
    • Enable others to repeat experiment and check info
    • References : It means that the reference list should follow the instructions set by the journal (or institution) where it is to be published.
    • Logical and clear : It is important to write the paper in a style that uses clear and concise language, so as to allow the reader to understand your research paper thoroughly and efficiently.
    • Tables, figures: Tables and figures, such as charts, diagrams, graphs, photos or other illustrations, help make numbers meaningful and convey information to the reader.
    Popular science paper:
    • Knowledge review
    • Teach or influence the reader : It means that the reader understood and get an effect from it.
    • Illustrations and headings as a tool to facilitate reading and understanding.

    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach?
Definition of “Blended Learning” is a social interaction face to face (learning environment) and develop skills using computer technology (computer mediated) so we can access much more knowledge. I expect I can understand well how to using online learning and improve writing skills from joining a class employing the blended learning approach.

    1. What is the fundamental goal of conducting a research, and why a research results should be communicated ?
The curiosity is one of the basic nature of human beings. The properties will encourage people to ask to get knowledge. Any intelligent person surely has knowledge, a good in the form of facts, concepts, principles, and procedures of an object. Knowledge can be had thanks to the experience or through the interaction between humans and their environment. Universally, there are three types of knowledge that have underlying human life, namely: (1) logic that can distinguish between right and wrong, (2) the ethics that can distinguish between good and bad, and (3) that can distinguish between the aesthetic and the beautiful ugly. Sensitivity owned senses, is the basic capital in acquiring such knowledge.

    2. Why should a scientific communication fulfill the criteria of ABC (accurate and audience-adapted, brief, and clear)?
Even the most brilliant scientific discovery, if not communicated widely and accurately, is of little value. And with the explosion of science around the globe, the dissemination of scientific information, once the purview of learned societies and a handful of publishers, is now a growth industry. This growth has attracted new models and new providers of services. In the process, the standards for scientific communication are slipping. The science community must explore new ways to improve upon them.

    3. Mention and explain three differences between scientific paper and popular science paper?
    Scientific Paper
The scientific paper has developed into a tool to communicate the results of scientific inquiry. The main audience for scientific papers is extremely specialized. The purpose of these papers is twofold: to present information so that it is easy to retrieve, and to present enough information that the reader can duplicate the scientific study.
    Popular Science Paper
    • Knowledge review: we can be repeated in doing research. to make sure and get the result
    • Illustrations and headings as a tools to facilitate reading and understanding
    • Examples: it should be containing of examples.

    4. What is your definition to “blended learning” and what benefits do you expect from joining a class employing the blended learning approach?
Blended Learning is an approach to learning and teaching which combines and aligns learning undertaken in face-to-face sessions with learning opportunities created online. a term increasingly used to describe the waye-learning is being combined with traditional classroom methods and independent study to create a new hybrid teaching methodology.
