1. this is my response:
This story talks about Sawitch Yegor he is a very talented painter, many of his paintings favored by many people. and he always thinks about his future and become famous and also have always thought that an artist is a burden to do what they think and create a new imagination. He too thought how to become famous and popular in the future so that he always did not care to fall in love with a girl who wants to be a part of his future life. He also thought that if she was married to the girl’s life was not free because of the situation of the place where he hangs out with his friends where his friends are men, but they enjoy and not feel ashamed. I think he’s wrong to think his or her desire, but I can understand the fact he was afraid of his life or the future if he is married to Katya, he will lose his friends and fredom as a human being or as a painter. I think this story is good for us to read also to evaluate ourselves and the story also gives the meaning that we are social beings, can not live alone so we need others in this life.
2. Point of view
In this story, the author is using the third person point of view, for example: Yegor Savvitch, Katya, Katya’s mom, Ukleikin, Kostyliov ).

*Complication : Complication begins when Yegor decide that he will not marry Katya. It shows on his dialogue “I cannot marry.” And continue he wants to be a famous artist. It looks on 28th line “I am not speaking of myself, I am speaking in general. . . . Famous authors and painters have never married.” He influence by his friends who has been a gay and life free.
* Climax : It happened after his meeting with his friends. Before going to bed, Yegor Savvitch saw Katya. “I am thinking of how you’ll be famous,” she said in a half-whisper. “I keep fancying how you’ll become a famous man. . . . I overheard all your talk. . . . I keep dreaming and dreaming. . . .”

thats all my response sir, thank you.
hello Sir .
I’m sorry Sir for my latest response because in this major I’m very busy but I must be response the story of Chekov’s ” Talent “. this is my response :
1. Response
Yegor Savvitch is an artist, who was spending his summer holidays at the house of an officer’s widow, was sitting on his bed, given up to the depression of morning. He decided to will not marry his severe mamma, Katya, because he thinks that an artist must be free and have never married. He was too obsessed to become famous and he always thinks about how to become famous.
This story is very good and so interesting because from this story I get the points that we can dream and thinking about the future to become a success people but we can’t selfish if other people can help or take part in the future if she/he can give the best for the future.
2. Point of view
in this story the author used Third person or called omniscient because the speaker not only describes the action and dialogue of the work ,but also seems to know everything that goes on in the minds of his characters.
3.Setting
This story take place at the house of an officer’s widow, was sitting on his bed, given up to the depression of morning. It was beginning to look like autumn out of doors. Heavy, clumsy clouds covered the sky in thick layers; there was a cold, piercing wind, and with a plaintive wail the trees were all bending on one side. He could see the yellow leaves whirling round in the air and on the earth.
4. plot
Complication : ( this complication in paragraph 3 ) He can’t marry because for a painter, and in fact any man who lives for art, marriage is out of the question. An artist must be free. I am not speaking of myself, I am speaking in general. . . . Famous authors and painters have never married.
The climax : The artist drank a glass of vodka, and the dark cloud in his soul gradually disappeared, and he felt as though all his inside was smiling within him. Than he said “It’s a fine thing to be an artist! I can go just where I like, do what I like. One has not to work in an office or in the fields. I’ve no superiors or officers over me. . . . I’m my own superior. And with all that I’m doing good to humanity!”
Denouement : ( this denouement in the last paragraph )
“I am thinking of how you’ll be famous,” she said in a half-whisper. “I keep fancying how you’ll become a famous man. . . . I overheard all your talk. . . . I keep dreaming and dreaming. . . .”
Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
thank you Sir ..
God Bless..
1. Response :
This story talks about a Yegor Sawitch he is an artist and has talent in painting he’s always thinking about his future and become famous and also always think that an artist is free to do what they think and create new imagination. He is too thinking how to become famous and popular in his future so that he always does not care for a girl who wants to be part from his future life. He is also think if he marry with the girl his life is not free because situation of the place where he hang out with his friends where his friends are guy but they enjoy and don’t feel shame. I think he was wrong with his think or his desire but I Can understand actually he was afraid with his life or his future if he marry with the Katya, he will lost his friends and fredom as a man or as a painter. I think this story is a good for us to read an also to evaluate our self.
2. Point of few
this story is third person, because mostly in the story the author described the figure using their name such as Yegor, Katya, he, she, mom, they And also seems that the author knows everything that goes on the mind of his characters.
3. Plot

I keep dreaming and dreaming….” then, Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
Sir, I am very sorry for being late. Thank you.
Response: This story talks about an artist Yegor Savvitch that has talent in painting. He has a powerful dream for his future life. He ignored a girl who could be his part in his future because he just focused on his dream and an artist needs to be free to create new imaginations. He is too obsessed to become famous and he always thinks about how to become popular. That’s why he always does not care for the girl who wants to be his part in his future life. And also situation could influence him where his friends are gay. But they don’t feel shame. I think that an artist needs to be free because to get a new creations and imaginations. But if I were yegor , I also need support of special people such as from special friend. I don’t just focus on that because someone that wants to be my part also my dream and my future. This is a good story that we have to read because it’s very interesting for reader.
Point of view: Point of view in this story is third person, because mostly in the story the author described the figure using their name such as Yegor, Katya, Katys’s mom, she, they etc. And also seems that the author knows everything that goes on the mind of his characters.
Plot:
Exposition: First the story shows us the man , an artist how he spent his summer which actually the summer is beauty, but he but Yegor Savvitch was in no humour to see beauty. He was devoured by ennui and his only consolation was the thought that by to-morrow he would not be there.
Complication: it starts when he refused to marry with Katya. Katya expect that he would marry her. But Yegor wouldn’t.
Climax: when Yegor’s friends who are gay came to his room, they have many conversations there while Yegor didn’t realize that Katya heard all about it.
The denouement in this story is at the end Katya left him, because she has kown all about him, his dreams and also his friends. Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
to all my dear friends and of course my lecturer… Sir thank you for the oppotunity you have given to.
1.Response Talent story talks about an artist Yegor Savvitch has an ambition, I think every people has a desire or dream maybe vision to reach their dream in this life. Yegor Savvitch wants to be free, he has paradigm that painter, famous author have never marriage, he influenced the mindset that the painters and artist never thought of marriage. First I think he was wrong with his paradigm or his desire but I Can understand actually he was affraid with his life or his future if he marry with the Katya, he did not want to lost his fredom as a man or as a painter. He has a dream and it was good. ‘his fancy picture how he would become great ‘. He could see distincly how the papers would talk of him. His dream will come true he thought. He tried to picture himself in a magnificient drawing, room surrounded by pretty and adoring woman. And Yegor Savvitch did not realize that Katya heard all the conversation and also his dreams. I realize everyone can be like Yegor Savvicth, has an ambition to reach our dreams and sometimes we can dispose all the things which disturb our way to reach that dream.
Point of view: Point of view in this story is third person, Yegor, Katya, Katys’s mom, she, they etc. everyone has a character according their opinion.
Plot:
Exposition: the story showed, the situation in the summer holidays, that Yegor Savvicth was not good in that situation, the setting full with the deppresion situation.
given up to the depression of morning. It was beginning to look like autumn out of doors. Heavy, clumsy clouds covered the sky in thick layers; there was a cold, piercing wind, and with a plaintive wail the trees were all bending on one side.
Complication:
The complication happened when Yegor Savvicth rejected to marry with widow’s daugther Katya. Katya expect that he would marry her. She asked him, why he couldn’t marry him, she didnt understan him. until the artist said that he wanted to be free life and has a dream an artist.
Climax
the climax happened when Katya knew and heard about that conversation between Yegor and his friend “And you, too, will be famous — I understand that perfectly. But put yourself in my place. I am afraid of my mother. She is stern and irritable. When she knows that you won’t marry me.
Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders. She expressed her feeling, poor Katya or maybe she was lucky because could’t Marriage to him
Denouement:
I think after Katya heard and knew what Yegor wanna be, she did not push Yegor to marry her “Is that you? What are you thinking about?” Yegor Savvitch asked her.
“I am thinking of how you’ll be famous,” she said in a half-whisper. “I keep fancying how you’ll become a famous man. . . . I overheard all your talk. . . . I keep dreaming and dreaming. . . .”
She expressed her feeling, poor Katya or maybe she was lucky because could’t Marriage person like Yegor Savvicth.
Hello Christina,
I appreciate your quick response. This analysis is also a good attempt to fulfill the instruction. Good job!
Response: the talent is talking about an Artist and a painter Yegor Savvitch, he can not marry Katya, because he thinks that an artist can not be bound by marriage, and usually an artist has a life of freedom, because the dream of the future that he wants to do is to be famous artists. When Yegor friends came to visit, not accidentally Katya heard their conversation about his dream.
I think this story is very interesting because in this story, we can learn that we should not always think of ourselves, because in life we also need someone who will support us. Because it should never ignore someone who is in our lives.
Point of view: The omniscient point of view is used a third person narrator who knows everything about all the characters is all-knowing. The reader knows about the thoughts and feelings of all the characters in the story. For example: Yegor savvitch “an artist and a painter Who’s focus to his future, Katya a girl long time been sitting in the young man’s room, Ukleiken, the landscape painter, Kostyliov, an historical painter.
Plot:
Exposition: This story shows that a man named Yegor, an artist who spends his time when the summer, the summer was supposed to be beautiful but she did not feel it. because only the boredom that she got.
Complication: Yegor refused to marry Katya, “Because for a painter, and even every man who lives for art, marriage is out of question. An artist must be free.”
Climax: Yegor when friends came to visit his room, and they talked, he did not realize that Katya listened to what he’s talking to his friends.
Denoument: Katya finally decided to leave Yegor,”I am thinking of how you’ll be famous,” She said in a half-whisper. “I keep fancying how you’ll become a famous man…. I overheard all your talk…. I keep dreaming and dreaming….” then, Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
Respons:
It is a story of a young painter Yegor Savvitch who has big dreams of a future as great painter but hasn’t yet managed to turn it into reality. My Thoughts it is a story of people who just dream of being someone great but forgets that Talent needs to be practiced and polished for it to shine. Dreamin of being great is not enough but people like Savvitch who have admirers like Katya will not realise it until it’s too late. And he cannot marry because for a painter, and in fact any man who lives for art, marriage is out of the question, an artist must be free.
Point of view:
Point of view in this story is third person, because mostly in the story the author described the figure using their name such as he, she, Yegor, Katya, Katys’s mom, etc.

Complication: when he refused to marry with Katya. And Katya expect that he would marry her. And then Yegor cannot marry with her.
Climax: when Yegor’s friends who are gay came to his room, they have many conversations there while Yegor didn’t realize that Katya heard all about it.
Denouement: the end Katya left him, because she has known all about him, his dreams and also his friends. Yegor would not marry her, because he obsessed to be a famous artist. Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
1. Response
This story is about an artist Yegor Savvitch, a painter, an artist. He decided to will not marry his severe mamma, Katya, because he thinks that an artist must be free and have never married. He was too obsessed to become famous and he always thinks about how to become famous. He thought if he could be an artist he would go wherever he wants, do whatever he likes, no need to work in the office or on the farm. No superiors or officers above him. He had friends their names were Ukleiken and Kostyliov. His friends are artists too, they were gay and happy. They thought the future, money and fame in their hands, but it never occurred to either of them that time was passing. Yegor just thinks about his self and about his future. He ignored his girl, Katya. She wanted to take part for Yegor lifer, but Yegor ignored her, because he though if want to be a famous artist, he have to be free.
This story are good and interesting for us, because from this story we get some points, they are that we may dream about the future as long as we wish the success for us and we can not ignore other people to take part to our future and to be selfish.
2. Point of view
In this story the author used the third person point of view (omniscient narrator).
The author not only describes the action and dialogue of the work, but also seems to know everything that goes on in the minds of his characters. He brings the reader into mind all of the character.
1. He described who Yegor Savvitch is and described his performance too. It shown in the first and second paragraphs “An artist called Yegor Savvitch, who was spending his summer holidays at the house of an officer’s widow, …”

2. Katya, aged twenty, had for a long time be sitting in the young man’s room.
3.Ukleiken, the landscape painter, who had been away all the summer in the Kostroma district.
4. Kostyliov, an historical painter. He was a friend staying at the next villa, …. He had long hair, and wore a blouse with a Shakespeare collar, and had a dignified manner.
3. Plot
In this story the author used logical-sequence plot .The author arranged the actions of all the characters organized and without make a final of that story.
And make the reader feels in his desire to know how the story will come out. In other hand the reader can choose what the final of that story will be.
There are some analysis of the plot:

The story tells about Yegor Savvitch, an artist and a painter. This story tells us about his dream or his future but In fact, it seems he did nothing of his work hard to achieve it. He always dream a girl who could be in his part future. Because he is a painter and in fact any who lives of art, marriage is out of the question. His future wants to be an artist in order that he can do everything whatever he wants and he could get a girl in his future when he begins dreaming and a girl always smile to him. So he never realize what happen to him. He just think how beautiful my dream is. Therefore, This story is very interesting to me. This story tells me about evaluate what I have done for this month. We can have high dream whatever we want but the important is we should work hard and then we can achieve what we have dreamed this forever.
In this story, the author is using in the third person. Because this story can get influence to other people. They are Yegor, Katya, his mom, kostyliov. The speaker does not act for this story but he knows about his characters for this story.
Plot:
Exposition: First the story shows us the man , an artist how he spent his summer which actually the summer is beauty, but he but Yegor Savvitch was in no humour to see beauty. He was devoured by ennui and his only consolation was the thought that by to-morrow he would not be there.

Hello Sir, sorry it’s late to post my analysis.
Response:
In my opinion Talent tells about an artist who obsession to get free life without thinking about another people. He ignores her girlfriend Katya, and doesn’t want to marry her. In his mind, if an artist gets married so his career will be neglected. He thinks that Katya will preclude him to reach his dream to be a famous painter.
This story also happens in our daily life, we are too busy to reach our dream. We also ignore the people who we love, I think the writer tries to remember us don’t ignored the other people who standing beside us.
Point of view:
Talent uses third person narrator because the writer use a lot of pronouns, for example, he, she, her mother, etc.
Plot:
The first in this story, the writer introduces the main character in this story Yegor Savvitch. He also introduces what is look like this man. He says the “AN artist called Yegor Savvitch, who was spending his summer holidays at the house of an officer’s widow, was sitting on his bed, given up to the depression of morning. It was beginning to look like autumn out of doors.”
After that the writer shows the problem from this story, the problem is he refuses to marry his girlfriend Katya, because in his mind an artist do not need a wife an artist must life freedom. When she knew that he doesn’t want to marry her, she told to her mother.
The climax of this story is when Yegor’s boyfriend came and made conversation that they didn’t realize that Katya hear what they talk about.
In this story, the denouement is Katya let him to reach his dream. She also thinks if she stills expect him to love her it’s impossible. She allows him to do what he wanted to do.
That’s all my analysis Sir, thankyou.
Respons :Anton Chekov’s Talent is a story about an artist Yegor Savvitch who always focuses on the future or his dream, but it seems he did nothing of work hard to reach it. Instead he ignored a girl who could be his part in his future. He tells to the girl,Katya that he can not marry her. He thinks that he does not need a marriage because according to him an artist should have a life of freedom. Actually he is too busy with his own dreams, how to be a famous painter. And also with his fellow artist who is gay, but they have no shamed about it. They looked the future boldly in the face. Yegor Savvitch doesn’t realize when he and his friends gathered at his place, Katya heard all their conversation and also his dreams.
Sometimes it happends also in our life, we are too busy with our dreams, our goals and seems ignored of someone who support and colud be a part of our future. And the worst is that we are in a wrong crowd, and it does not take us to reach our dreams.
I think this story is a good for us to read an also to evaluate our self, when we have our focuses, we have to consit of it without ignored people who take part of it and also put self in a good socialization.
Point of view: Point of view in this story is third person, because mostly in the story the author described the figure using their name such as Yegor, Katya, Katys’s mom, she, they etc. And also seems that the author knows everything that goes on the mind of his characters.

Climax: the climax is when Yegor’s friend who are gay came to his room, they have many conversation there while Yegor didn’t realize that Katya heard all about it.
Denouement: the deouement in this story is at the end Katya left him, because she has kown all about him, his dreams and also his friends. Katya went off into a happy laugh, cried, and laid her hands reverently on her idol’s shoulders.
Hi sir, i’m going to give analysis on Chekov’s talent. Although it is a long short story, I will try to analize this short story.
1. Response
This story talked about Yegor Savvitch, a painter, an artist. He decided to will not marry his severe mamma, Katya, because he thinks that an artist must be free and have never married. If Katya’s mother knows Yegor will not marry Katya, her mother will be stern and irritable. Yegor was too obsessed to become famous. He thought if he became an artist he could go wherever he likes, do whatever he likes, does not work in the office or on the farm, does not have superiors or officers above him. He was too cool with his own world. His artist friends were gay and were happy. They looked the future with courage in their face. Yegor always thinks about how to become famous. But he doesn’t know, he can not enjoy his life in that way. He just thinks about his self, about his future.
2. Point of view
In this story, the author is using the third person point of view, because everything in the work is described in third person ( Yegor Savvitch, Katya, Katya’s mom, Ukleikin, Kostyliov ). The speaker not only describes the action and dialogue of the work, but also seems to know everything that goes in the minds of his characters.
3. Plot
– Exposition : The first paragraph in “talent”, begins by introducing a situation that seems to be static. It briefly describes by “who was spending his summer holidays at the house of an officer’s widow, was sitting on his bed, given up to the depression of morning.” This paragraph also introduces the setting: a Russian city ( place) in the summer ( time).
