‘Ability’ and ‘Difficulties” are two contradictory factors in this context. In addition, researching EFL juniors (6th semester university students), especially of an English Department, seems to trivial.

Better to cover the whole tenses (not only the simple present tense), and you may just ask each student to write a descriptive paragraph as the corpus of the study. Thus the title will run An Error Analysis of Tenses Use in the Eleventh Graders’ Descriptive Paragraph at SMK Jakarta Timur 2.
